To use OpenAI services, you need an API access key.

Visit their website and create an account if you don't already have one. You’ll also need to add funds to your account, as some of the most advanced models require a paid subscription.

• Log In to the OpenAI Platform Visit https://platform.openai.com/ and log in with your credentials.
  
  
• Navigate to API Keys Once logged in, click on your profile icon (top right), then select "API keys" from the dropdown menu, or go directly to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys.
  
  
• Create a New API Key - Click the "Create new secret key" button. Give your key a name (optional, for your reference), and then copy the generated key. You won’t be able to see it again, so save it somewhere secure.

Now you are ready to use the key.
